Lima by the ocean, the Andes, a practical LatAm hub

Peru is an accessible Andean entry point: Lima as a work hub (Miraflores / Barranco / San Isidro), Cusco and Machu Picchu already about altitude and tourism. Food, Spanish, and relative cost pull nomads; pick neighborhoods carefully for safety.

For many passports (including Russia) - visa-free, in practice often a ~30–90 day stamp (TUR legal ceiling up to ~183 days/year). Longer stays need rentista / worker status and a carné de extranjería via Migraciones. A ready digital-nomad visa often doesn’t exist. Start with visa and the before-you-arrive checklist.
