Many nationals can enter visa-free for a short Schengen stay (often up to 90 days). Longer stays use the Digital Nomad Visa (D8) or other residence routes (work, study, family).
D8 typically needs proven remote income, insurance, housing, and a document pack. Thresholds change — check the consulate and AIMA.
