This policy explains what data Travelguide (travelgui.pro) processes, why we need it, and what rights you have. By using the site, you agree to the terms below.
1. Controller and scope
Travelguide is an informational project about relocation and digital nomads: country guides, articles, a country-match calculator, a catalog of residence pathways, and related services (partner flight search and project support).
The site operator is the owner of travelgui.pro. This policy covers all RU and EN pages of the site, including widgets and forms we control.
Content is general information and is not legal, tax, or immigration advice.
2. Data we process
We aim to collect only what is needed to run the site, measure usage, and show relevant ads.
- Technical visit data: IP address (often truncated by analytics), device and browser type, language, pages viewed, visit time, referrer.
- Cookies and local storage: interface language, analytics IDs, ad-network settings.
- Aggregated traffic statistics via Google Analytics (or similar tools), without requiring a name or email.
- Advertising identifiers and ad impression events when Google AdSense or other ad networks are enabled.
- Information you send by email if you write to us.
- Payments and donations: when you pay via Stripe, Buy Me a Coffee, Patreon, or crypto networks, card details are handled by the payment provider; Travelguide servers do not store card numbers.
- Partner deep links (e.g. Aviasales): we may pass technical / UTM parameters; the partner’s own policy applies on their site.
3. What we usually do not collect
You do not need an account to read guides. We do not ask for passport data, tax IDs, or full payment credentials on Travelguide forms.
Do not send sensitive information by email unless it is required for your request.
4. Why we process data
- To display and improve content, measure audience, and debug issues.
- To remember language and basic UI preferences.
- To show ads and measure their performance (when ads are enabled).
- To respond to inquiries by email.
- To protect the site from abuse and keep the service stable.
- To comply with law when it applies to the operator.
7. Third-party services
The site may load third-party scripts and links. Those services process data under their own policies. Typical categories:
- Analytics: Google Analytics.
- Advertising: Google AdSense and related Google ad networks.
- Travel: Aviasales and other ticket-search partners (you leave to their site); connectivity - Drimsim and similar services.
- Payments and donations: Stripe, Buy Me a Coffee, Patreon; crypto networks for the network you choose.
- Hosting and CDN: infrastructure that serves the site (access logs at the provider).
9. Retention
Retention depends on data type and tool settings. Analytics and ad IDs follow those services’ rules (often months up to about 26 months for standard Google Analytics reports unless configured otherwise).
Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to reply and continue the conversation, unless you ask us to delete it.
Server logs are usually rotated automatically within a reasonable period.
10. Your rights

- correction of inaccurate data;

Requests that only concern Google cookies/ads are often resolved faster via browser settings and Google’s own controls than via a site request.

We use common organizational and technical measures: HTTPS, limited admin access, software updates. No internet transmission is perfectly secure; contact us if you suspect an incident.
13. Children
The site is aimed at adults (relocation, visas, finance). We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it where possible.
14. International transfers
Services such as Google may process data on servers outside your country. By using the site, you understand such transfers may occur under those providers’ policies and applicable safeguards (for example Google’s standard contractual clauses).
