Filing deadlines
Deadlines depend on income type and other factors. Declarations are usually filed annually; DIAN publishes dates each year and often ties them to the last digit of your RUT (e.g. digit 0 - by August 20, digit 1 - by August 21, etc.). Current dates - on dian.gov.co or with an accountant.
For companies and entrepreneurs, deadlines may depend on activity type and revenue.
Tax rates
Individual income tax is progressive: from 0% to 39% depending on income. Income is measured in UVT (Unidad de Valor Tributario - a unit recalculated annually).
