Important nail nuance: a typical local salon often treats cuticles differently than you may be used to in Russia - side pads are cut and sometimes injured. For “Russian” e-file or careful cuticle work use vetted providers below, not a random mall spot.

Aesthetic doctors (injectables)

Botox, fillers, and biostimulators are medical aesthetics, not salon work. Colombia’s market is large (especially Medellín and Bogotá): next to solid dermatologists you will find $3–5/unit Botox, biopolymers, and non-physician injectors. How to choose (checklist)

• Who injects: a médico (dermatólogo / médico estético / cirujano plástico), not a salon “cosmetologist”. Get the injector’s name and ID for verification before paying.
• ReTHUS: Ministry of Health registry - the physician should appear there. ReTHUS public lookup. At the consult: «¿Cuál es el número de RETHUS del médico que va a hacer el procedimiento?»
• Box opened in front of you: Allergan / Galderma / Merz - sealed packaging, lot and expiry shown. Pre-drawn unmarked syringe - walk away.
• Hyaluronidase on site: vascular occlusion from filler is time-critical; if they don’t know what that is, leave.

• Telegram - Colombia community chat: city + “botox / filler / dermatólogo”, ask for experience, not ads.
• Reddit - r/Medellin, r/bogota, r/Colombia: search botox, filler, dermatologist, plastic surgeon. Read comments, not just the post.
• Facebook - “Expats in Medellín”, “Digital Nomads Medellín”, “Bogotá Expats & Nomads”, plus Russian-speaking Colombia groups.
• Official directories (status check, not reviews): dermatologists - Asocolderma; plastic surgery - SCCP - find a surgeon.

Price ballpark (Medellín / major clinics, ~2026)

From expat-guide summaries (not a clinic quote): Botox roughly COP 32–48k / unit (~USD 8–12); full-face 40–60 units about COP 1.3–2.9M; HA filler syringe (Juvederm / Restylane) COP 1–1.8M. Much cheaper without brand + lot explanation is suspicious. Bogotá is similar in good areas (Chapinero Norte / Usaquén / Calle 127).
